Todd Camhe is the co-founder of Oakproof, an alternative investment fund that acquires young barrels of premium American bourbon and holds them as they age into more valuable Kentucky Straight Bourbon. A former film and entertainment producer and serial entrepreneur, Todd was drawn to bourbon's collaborative community and its non-correlation to stocks and real estate: the barrel, unlike a building, improves itself. Oakproof buys 0–4 year barrels from top-tier distillers, insures and stores them in secure rickhouses, and sells around year six to craft distillers and bottlers — patient capital, Warren Buffett-style, in America's only native spirit.
