ABOUT
Tero Moliis grew up in Finland without a television — his parents gave him books, board games, and journeys through Africa by age 12 instead. He has lived in ten countries, speaks six languages, became the first Finn to take Mexican citizenship his way ('cocotero sin coco', as Venezuela nicknamed him), started over ten companies — eight no longer exist, including a cider import business whose bankruptcy ended with a swim in a bathtub of cider — and mentors startups across six international programs, investing only in founders he has mentored for a year. His book Life Is A Sandcastle distills his philosophy: question everything you were given, from your favorite color to your purpose; never regret the things you did not do; and remember that in three generations nobody will remember you — so relax and be happy.
