Kenya Burrell-VanWormer and Katherine Winston are the co-founders of Equity Angels, an accelerator supporting underrepresented and underestimated founders in proptech and fintech. Kenya brings over 20 years in residential real estate, from association leadership to brokerage and proptech startups; Katherine is a startup marketing veteran whose career spans an IPO, two acquisitions, and producing global conferences connecting entrepreneurs with financiers. After years speaking together on equity in the startup space, they launched Equity Angels to change the numbers instead of just reporting them, offering a fundraise-ready accelerator, fractional executive placement, and education, with a goal of helping 100 underrepresented founders by 2030.
