Karen Burbano es una abogada ecuatoriana, filántropa y líder social. Tras superar una septicemia y 22 días en coma durante la pandemia, transformó su vida alrededor de un propósito claro: servir. Renunció a su trabajo en relación de dependencia para dedicarse a su fundación, enfocada en combatir el hambre y el abandono de adultos mayores y personas con discapacidad en Ecuador, donde el 60% de los adultos mayores vive en extrema pobreza. Montañista por gratitud, ha hecho de las cimas del Ecuador su espacio de conexión y fe.
