Healthcare found him, not the other way around. Immigration hurdles turned a finance graduate into a nanny, then into a healthtech employee, and finally into a founder; open-mindedness means admitting your plan may not be the right one.
Care and finance must balance. A clinic that focuses only on clinical quality can't scale, and one that focuses only on numbers loses its purpose; the best care model holds both in equilibrium.
Co-founding with your spouse works if you treat it as a project. Integrity, different skill sets, and a different point of view are the three traits he looks for in any partner, and finding work-free zones (like kitesurfing) keeps the couple a couple.
Don't chase the hot thing, aim your passion at it. Trends change every three to four years; passion is what carries you through the pain, so use AI or whatever is hot as a tool for what you actually care about.
