The niche was hiding in his guest complaints. Around 75% of Deon's first hundred Airbnb guests had been kicked out of other rentals over cannabis; he built 420-friendly hospitality around them and became the only host in South Florida doing it.
Crisis is a window, not a wall. He treated 2020 the way others treated 2008, starting his platform build during COVID and giving himself five years to be somewhere completely different.
Tough love can light the fire. His father's dismissive comment sent him from Detroit to Florida at 21 with a prove-them-wrong drive he still runs on, up at 5:30am for meditation and a full execution day.
