It started with baseball autographs. At 17, Dan was collecting signatures at hotels and games until a friend pointed out he didn't need five signed cards of the same player. That eBay store became a top-rated seller with 10,000+ items — and taught him he could work for himself.
Fix the funnel before you buy the traffic. Zing won't take a paid-ads project if the funnel isn't optimized — running ads to a low-converting site is building a house with no foundation. Store first, CRO second, then gasoline.
Fixed pricing is an alignment tool. Hourly billing lets a $20K project become $100K. Dan's team quotes fixed prices and skips lock-in retainers — transparency that filters for clients who value results over activity.
AI can build it in 24 hours; that doesn't make it scalable. The gap in the vibe-coding era is architecture and infrastructure. Dev shops overpromise and underdeliver — the moat is knowing what breaks at scale.
